LEEP Reviews
Working / Worked
I had this procedure roughly 10 years ago and am tentatively scheduled for 9/30 for a second, if the biopsy results only show pre-cancerous cells.
Working / Worked
Went under for surgery. All abnormal cell were removed. I have been clear for two years now.
Working / Worked
Somewhat painful. Removed all cancerous cells for almost 10 years.
Working / Worked
It hurt a little, but not that bad.
Working / Worked
The LEEP was painful and I bled a good deal. I took 3 Ibuprofen about a half hour before. If I have to go through this again, I think I will request to be either put out or given some pain meds before.
The rest of the day after the procedure I felt a little sore and okay. But the next morning when I woke up I felt like I had been punched in the stomach and abdomen repeatedly a million times. A heating pad really really helped. It took me 3 weeks to fully feel back up to par.

The procedure was uncomfortable, but not painful. I received a clear margins biopsy and only had mild dysplasia. going for PAPs every three months. Had one clear one and just had another one today. Little edgy and afraid to find out results. Hope it is not back.

worked so far
Working / Worked
Actually having Cold Knife Cone proceedure (similar to leep but a little more invasive) this Friday.
Working / Worked
I am still traumatized by the LEEP. It is now 5-1/2 months, and I still can't sit during my work day without painkillers. LEEP is neither the best nor the worst method of partial amputation. It's just another method with the same success rate as the others. For me, it was the wrong procedure. A body vulnerable to infection because it heals slowly + an inflammed cervix from chronic cervicitis + a device with the highest risk of infections = disaster.
Working / Worked
Worked for biopsy of tumor
