Used for diagnosis. Uncomfortable and I could feel the heat. My bleeding was off and on for over 2 weeks.

This procedure was done after the last colposcopy that I had done. I could feel a pinching sensation even though I was given a lot of meds. to keep me from feeling anything. (I have a high natural tolerance for medicine). It worked well though, my doctor went all the way to the margins and got all the dsyplasia at the time.

I had this under a general. It was much better than i thought with no pain and just a sort of light period. One year on, pre-cancer free!

it was so painful that i almost passed out but i would do it again if the cancer came back. No cancer 4 years later!

My leep was done as an outpatient procedure, so I was put under anesthesia. I had no pain, however, my vagina was really sore and irritated for about a week afterwards, I think from the speculum. Four days later I was called to come in to the office and I was told it was cervical cancer. I am now waiting to have a radical hysterectomy.
