Had surgery bilateral knee replacement 8 weeks ago. Am still in pain, knees stiff and tight but am exercising and at least i can walk now. Will be going back to swimming in a week or two.

My doctors were considering surgery on my right knee, but decided just to wait it out as I was fifteen at the time. Five years later, it's still a possibility, though unlikely.

They're now talking about hip replacement, which I don't feel ready for.
