Sometimes, I just have a "do nothing" day. I allow myself to rest and relax. My mom never would. She made herself feel guilty if she relaxed, so I do it for her.

I've got a "hobby box" with a puzzle book, nail polish, a sketchbook, stuff like that, so whenever I get the urge to do something ED-ish I can grab something from the box until the urge passes. It usually works. :)
