I was on interferon for 6 months. The treatment lowered my platelets and white cells to very low level that they had to take me off the teatments my spleen is enlarged from the damage to my liver and soaks up the platelets and whie cells. Since my transplant my platelets and white cells have gone up a signicant amount.
