IVIG Reviews

The treatments have greatly decreased the frequency and duration of sinus and respiratory infections. But I find I have been experiencing severe headaches nausea back pain and fatigue after the treatments. It can last hours days or even weeks depending on the month. It has not addressed the increasing gastrointestinal problems I have been experiencing but my doctors are slowly trying to figure out what is going on. I get IVIG Nex every 4 weeks.
I have had a lot of reactions and keep switching brands. Currently I have luck with Privigen. I am also now on plaquenil. My veins are shot.
I have a port inserted and so far still always sick

works on breathing problems but only temporary fix
The treatment stemmed the advance of the disease.
Noticed major improvement the first time, too soon to tell on the second round.
Working / Worked
Once a month over two days. Makes me nauseous, killer headaches and a strange rash on my hands.
Working / Worked
Worked good for me.
I get infusions twice a month and I know without them I would be bedridden. It has been a long slow recovery and I had hoped I would be much better by now.
finished my 2nd round of ivig..no side effects. Gaining more strength after each treatment.
