Miracle! Works amazingly well and very fast. I received 40g a day for 3 days on three separate occasions. The third time I developed a debilitating headache that made me want to convince someone to just knock me out and put me out of my misery. Migraine doesnt even begin to describe the pain. I also had a bloody nose for a week after infusion.
It was working, brilliantly, but has since stopped being as effective. I'm on 3 x 200ml bottles of Intragam every 21 days. It only helps for about 10 days.

It was brilliant! Literally changed my life but is becoming less and less effective every time. I currently have it every 3 weeks. Im on Intragam 3 x 200ml bottles per treatment.

its my liquid gold.
They began this treatment 7 days after onset (the end of the 3rd day in the hospital) and I began to improve on day 8 as they were considering plasmaphereisis.

This is keeping me alive. Five days a week every third week, and each time we try to cut it back I end up in the hospital. I get incredibly hot and sweaty during the infusions and use ice packs to cool myself down. Starting on day 3 of each sequence the headaches and "fog head" kick in and it becomes difficult to concentrate for about a week until it subsides. I recommend getting a port for anyone using ivig for an extended period. God bless IVIG !
I have had some side effects that was worked out by giving me benadryl via iv prior to the ivig. My symptoms included fever chills and flulike aches.
Works in conjunction with Cellcept and solumedrol. 40g every 3 weeks.
I have a mild case of GBS was diagnoised in early October spent three weeks in hospital couldnt walk and face paralised. But after five days of immugloben treatment started to be able to use legs again and in three weeks can walk. My hands and feet are really sore and aftet walking my legs feel very fatigued.I am also tired all the time and keep getting bright flashes in my eyes is this norm. Tom
