Finally started to work after 6 months. Caused SEVERE itching episodes, so reduced dosage to 200 mg once daily, but I still get the itchies. Dermatologist said it was almost definitely the Plaquenil causing the itchiness. BUT - now I can hop right outta bed and walk to the bathroom in the morning - WITHOUT having to be helped out of bed and hanging onto the furniture to get there!
