Hydrocodone is the only thing that seems to work well. I am down to rather low dosage I believe, but like a couple, rarely more than 3 light beers PM. Wonder if this is counter productive to healing this condition, or just makes life easier to tolerate.

I am still in a lot of pain. It is not as bad as the first surgery last spring but I am still pretty much bed ridden and feel depressed a lot. The pain killers make me very constipated and laxitives give me diarhea. I have completely quit smoking which is HUGE!!

I use Vocodin for moderate to severe pain.

Using Norco 10mg tablets. Usually have to take 30mg at a time to get complete relief. As my script is for only 120 a month (4 per day) I use them when I know I will be active and skip days so that I can be able to have them when I need them.

In combination with the gabapenten this seems to work for the most part, my pain never totally goes away
