After a CT scan, doctors confirmed a bi lateral PE covering 75% of my lungs! Immediately they brought me to the ICU dept. for 3 days and was released the 4th day from hospital. I am being treated with Heparin daily until the warfarin is theraputic, almost there now. But I still have trouble with my lungs, although much better than when it first was diagnosed. I am very tired constantly and I find that I have a headache, especially after the Heparin shot, they are giving me 2500 units/day.
