i was given heparin infections and a heparin infusion while in hospital. i personally didnt have any problems taking heparin apart of course from the run of the mill brusing. found it excellent.

I was given Heparin for 5 days in the hospital and was then put on warfarin. I thing it had to have worked some what because I can breath better.

Had Fragmin (dalteparin sodium injection) = medicine called low–molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) initially until warfarin dose was at therapeutic levels.
Yes it worked. Side effects were minimal, as injections go , it stings big time!!
