Working / Worked
Rod is broken but no surgery to remove it at this point.
Working / Worked
After 8 hours of surgery (don't remember a thing), spent 3 days in H.D.U then went to ward. Spent another 10 days on ward (Mom with me every day haha)then came home (that was the best bit.)
Working / Worked
After the operation I had a blood clot in my lung, which kept me in hospital for about 5 extra days. I still have occasional back aches but Im so glad that I had this operation, as it has significantly reduced my back pain.

Working / Worked
I would recommend Harrington Rods to anyone
Working / Worked
No problems since the operation; however my spine is not completely straight as my curve was quite significant; apparently the surgeon struggled to get the metal work in! Even so my curvature is not noticable (clothed that is!) to the untrained eye!
Working / Worked
Even post surgery my curvature is still 60 degrees... but it is not getting any worse and I can walk and do most things. :)
