I was a gymnast so moving my back that way i wanted wasnt an option.

Have some pain but it worked and beats the alternative.

I think my doctor did a great job! i feel better and my back only hurts every once in a while. side effects? i have a HUGE scar running down my back, but thats not really a side effect. I can't arch my back any more. I think it wwnt pretty well, i mean, i was hard at first, it totally sucked at first, but it's getting better.

No complications until 20 years post-op.

I had scoliosis surgery 20 years ago. My spine is almost completely fused from top to bottom. I think that the surgery was a success but I have a lot of pain.

It cured the curve, but 20 some years later has caused deterioration of the vertebrae beneath the fusion and I experience pain on a regualr basis.

Have some pain and crookedness now but overall I think it was successful.
