Yes, but S-L-O-W-L-Y (like water over rocks!) I've been on increasing dosages since 2000 (under my M.D., a physiatrist's, care). If I stop taking I get worse, but dosage has to increase VERY gradually or I get a flare up.

Haven't noticed any relief except during sinus infections.

I also have severe allergies so this helps prevent sinus problems and infections.

I like this for several reasons. It seems to help with keeping the mucous flowing. I tend to dry out with medication and then I can't breath as well which affects my ability to sleep. Helps my energy level.

Still like Guaifenisin for control of sinus/ allergy symptoms.

I stopped it for a couple of yrs because the protocol is hard to follow. Just started again; my energy is better than it has been in ages! No side effects. Use Mucinex, or Sologuai, per St. Amand

dIt has helped alot. When I fail to take is regularly, my foot-slap gait returns as well as increaesd pain. Causes dry mouth and sweating.

I take from 1200 to 2400 mgs per day when I am in a cycle of pain. It does help, and makes my foot-slapping gait go away, as well as improving the neuropathy of fibromyalgia in my toes on one foot.Main side effect for me and my sister who also has fibromyalgia is that it makes us so hot. Cannot tolerate it in the hot summertime.
