I take mucinex for my sinuses and it works for them. I do suffer from chronic sinitis so I often need antibiotics as well.

Took 2 years of 1200 mg per day to see a gradual imporvement, but I can now manage the illness rather than it manage me. I take a maintenance dose of 600mg per a day for about 10 days if my symptoms increase.

Constant clearing of my throat from excessive mucus from Nasel allergies was basically gagging on it. Been taking 12 hour time released tablets MucinexMaximum strength 1200mg twice a day. It is working very well!
