I generally feell ok, I havn't had any pains in my lower left hand side of my back where the bone marrows produced like I got before, the only thing I have is that sometimes my muscles ache, and my legs. I'm still taking this med.
Nausea, rash, fatigue, heart palpitations at first. Now just a bit of nausea.
In the beginning Alex had alot of issues BONE PAIN was the worse and most common for him. Now he only has the nausea and occasional vomiting......BUT on a lighter note he's doing so much better!!!!!! his counts are looking very good.
I started taking Gleevec for CML last December. It is doing its job, although there are side effects. So far they have been more annoying than severe. Will post my experiences on the specific message areas.
I was on Gleevec 400 MG for 10 months. I then had to come off the drug do to side effects. I got psudo tumor cerbri (elevated spinal fluid pressure)
leg and jaw pain, water retention in legs and face, had to discontinue because of sevier skin rash.
rare naussea
played havac with vertigo, I couldn't even walk around in my own kitchen without vomiting my guts out. I couldn't ride in a car without getting sick.
Since being diagnosed with CML, I have had a stroke in the celebreum. I have diabetes and neuropathy in the arms and hands and legs and feet.Iwas diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2000.It was not removed until 2005.
