I love it my surgery went smoothly. My surgeon is terrific. High fives to the surgical team.We have support group meetings all during the month that we can choose to attend. It is helpful to me to hear the stories of others. I have lost more than 60 pounds since the RNY surgery.
had proceedure 25 yrs ago. Was very ill for a long time but did lose 100+ lbs. Then weight started to come back on. Found out last year it was due to a staple that had popped.

Gastric Bypass surgery is the best thing I could have ever done for my health and physical appearance. I am so happy with my results. I went from 250 lbs to 133. I had my surgery in May of 2005. I am especially proud of the healthy eating habits. You never know what you can do until you really put your mine to it.

I had surgery 4 yrs ago but have only seen Dr after 1st year. Having severe stomach pains at times and I am severely allergic to all milk products.
I am at a loss as to what to eat anymore. Sometimes a couple bites of food makes causes pain which wraps around chest and I break out in a sweat. I moved out of state where I had surgery and then my Dr moved back East so I have no one to see. I did lose 140 lbs but have another 125 to go.
I was told I got pregnant too soon which is why I gained all the weight back, I have to admit though, I did take advantage of the fact that I was eating for two, so that didn't help either.
I have kept off 120lbs. It is NOT the easy way out but it saved my life. I could not lose over one hundred pounds on my own. The surgery was my tool I did the work. It can be done. You can do it without surgery too.
