He took his for the first 6 months following his kidney transplant. No problems with it.

Worked but killed the RBC - a real problem..took months to recover but it was necessary since it was given for a severe case of CMV

Took for 3 months post transplant. Shortly after stopiing it, got CMV and had to get IV Gancyclovir 2 X a day for 5 weeks.
