Take in conjunction with neurontin - 2-3 mg/day. I guess I am bipolar based on one episode of mania-type behavior and odd thoughts.

I started on 300mg at night, it did not work so my GP told me to slowly increase it to the maxium dose which is roughly 2.3g a day which is 8 tablets a day. I am half way through the increse and all that has happened is that I have gained 6 pound in weight because of the tablets.

I think this stuff is working. My actual doctor called me in to look at my shingles and said the other doc didn't give me enough Gab. to last, so he gave me more pills.
