Started Fosamax in 2001 when diagnosed with severe osteoporosis before acromegaly diagnosis. Took it for 8 yrs. Went from severe problems to almost normal. Also believed that racewalking helped quite a bit. Had no side effects but know others who did.

Took this several years ago (10 or more). I was on it then switched to Boniva.

pretty much trashed my stomach. Stopped taking it.

was on it for a short time and then off of it because of teeth work and now the doctor says I need to be back on it. My mom was on it and broke both her femur bones in different years and all she was doing was standing.

I had acid reflux after taking it for a year so my medic said to give it a rest for a month and start again. Been ok since.
