Works wonders to stimulate my left ovary, not so much the right. Have used Follistim for 3 cycles now, each resulted in several mature follicles that have not been fertilized. I have experienced severe discomfort post-IUI (presumed time of ovulation) with this treatment because of the enlarged ovaries. Another fairly mild side effect is a burning sensation at injection site briefly after the injection.
