Working / Worked
It works but have to adjust it every summer.
Working / Worked
Life changing. Take .2mg daily. Being evaluated for Cortef. No side effects other than slight weight gain. Struggle with low potassium not high. New symptoms may not be Addison related.
Working / Worked
Saves my life, but swelling each moth for a week is killing me all over. It seems to be the florinef.
Working / Worked
No side effects- I take 0.1 every other day.
Working / Worked
I currently take Florinef every day. My daily dose depends on the amount I am sweating (i.e. more on hotter days, days I exercise or am cramping and less on other days). Besides the cramping, one way I know I am low is that I get light-headed and almost feel like I will faint when I walk up stairs.
Working / Worked
Works amazingly.
Working / Worked
Have been taking Florinef faily for over two years. I've been quite healthy in this time with no noticeable side effects.
I don't remember any side effects but I took it as a child and never really remember anyone telling me about possible side effects to be on watch for.
Working / Worked
working pretty well
MY BP is constantly very low, even with daily Florinef. I supplement with dietary sodium intake and have found that very helpful. My body is used to the low BP, so it doesn't bother me as much anymore. Approx. once every few months my BP will spike to near-normal levels and I will have a severe and debilitating headache. This is generally helped by drinking lots of water (duh, right?). For the most part, Florinef is my friend.
