Holding on my higher power

I seem to have been born with a strong faith or belief that things will get better. I had a very difficult childhood, and yet, still I often said to myself, "if childhood is this bad, I can't wait to be an adult."

I continue to always know that things will get better, no matter how depressed I get. I feel scared when I think I have no resources, but someone has always shown up and reminded me that they care about me. Then, I remember that God uses "manure" to make plant food :)

Faith/hope are the unseen tangents of a tangible distress.

Faith has aided in the acceptance of my self-image phys/and psych

very active in our church as a steward and very involved in our youth program.
Also, the church has been VERY supportive of my single parenting role as an extended part of my family :)

Sometimes all you can you is have faith the extra hard times will pass and the pain/ confusing lessens and hope it is sooner rather than later!!

My cousin lived in hope when he was in hospital that he might get better but died within six months of his diagnosis. He thought he was getting better cause he weighed more on the scales but it was just the fluid in his legs

Not sure what to say here. I find value in sermons I download onto my ipod however when I go to a church people do not seem to greet me or welcome me...
