My medical doctor put me on Klonopin and it seemed to work for most of my symptoms but it didn't help the racing heart episodes that came during my period. My Ob/Gyn felt it was hormonal and has put me on estrogen gel. The first month seemed to clear things up but these past two months have moved the racing heart episodes back a few days before and during my period. And now I awake during the night with a rapid heart rate and hot flushes and sweating palms and feet.
