Carbamazepine is used to control some types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to relieve pain due to trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureux). It should not be used for other more common aches or pains. It can also be used in the treatment of bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness).

seems to work for a few days straight, then reoccurs. Occassional days completely debilating, then take Tramidol and takes a day to recover from that.

somewhat helpful they had to keep increasing the dosage until they decided to change to different medication

SEs bad at first, bad dizzyness, but ok now. Hope it works in the long run, have had a few relapses since but don't think I was on the right dose.
