I hate epo shots they hurt more than any shot I've ever had and causes me to bruise. I'm not sure if it works because nothing is really "working".

Epogen works great for me. It brings me hematocrit up very quickly.

I got this when I had kidney failure and it did bring readings up until I went off dialysis

I took Procrit shots to help keep me from needing another transfusion until I could be accepted into the clinical trial. It did raise my Hemoglobin somewhat enough to keep me going until I entered the REvlimid Trial.

wondeful drug before i was on dialysis i was so tired then found out i was anemic the started epogen treatment and oh did i get my energy back i'll always be anemic and be on epogen because of end stage renal disease my dosage changes as my kidneys change function

Worked for awhile. Got up to 60,000 units a week, but it was just filling a hole. Didn't make any difference.
