i felt kinda funny the first couple of months but soon after felt better than i had in a while! my viral load was over 300 million, and a little over a year later is virtually undectable.

didn't work too well...while i was on it enzymes went down but as soon as i finished tx the enzymes jumped up higher than before. also caused headaches.

I took Lamivudin 100mg once daily for a year and my HBsAg came negative after 1 year. The disease relapsed after 1 year discontinuation. Now I am under investigation for further treatment and my liver is now a fatty liver.

I was prescribed this drug before the advent of the cocktails that included protease inhibitors and consequently the drug lost its effectiveness over time. I'm not blaming the doctors. They just didn't know any better at the time.
