Was working great, until hey had to rescussitate me and use the paddles on me. Now they won't do it anymore because of the risk. But for 6 months I was really doing well...didn't even need meds anymore. Now we are working on trying meds again. Slow process, since none of them worked before ECT.

worked initially, but with repeated depression, did not help. Very bad side effect with memory loss

In the beginning I was frightened. But now I welcome it.Side effects were some memory loss.

Had 2 (forced) sessions a week for 6 weeks as an in-patient. My mood certainly lifted but it really wiped my short term memory, there is so little I remember.
