Sometimes it works, but not too often lately.

Well I have had 11 treatments so far and thank god they only had to treat one side of the brain. I was really scared of the bilateral due to alot of potential memory loss. I do have some memory loss with unilateral and moments like when I cant find the right word to explain something. Also sometimes cant remember phone numbers or where people live. But I am told this will go away as treatments become further apart. I do have to say though it is really miraculous how my mood has improved.
Working / Worked
Tried twice. In 2007 I had 8 treatments and it made the world of difference to my life. Said that I felt emotions, that I hadn't felt before. Almost child-like. Things really went south again in 2011. Another round of 11. This time didn't work. Very upsetting because I thought that it was the answer.
Working / Worked
I went through about 14 sessions and it helped my depressionbipolar symptoms DRAMATICALLY. I have been on antidepressants for almost 10 years and they had little effect. ECT turned my life around. I have suffered cognitive and memory problems that have been quite disruptive. However these symptoms are improving with time.
