For the most part and at the beginning it had taken the edge off of my depression...well it got me out of the psych ward. But pdoc says its not really good for treating bp depression. Maybe thats true...depression still there getting worse at times.

I HAVE BEEN ON EFFEXOR BEFORE AND IT WORKED WELL.AFTER A COUPLE OF YEARS AT TIME OF DOSAGE (MAX)I FELT LIKE I WAS WITHDRAWLING AND IF I MISSED IT I HAD HORRIBLE SIDE EFFECTS.VISION PROBLEMS ,SHAKING, LOSS OF SENSATION IN BODY.
