This by far was the best treatment I have had. I still have trouble with things but it took me from being stuck in the house to moving to another country.
Using EMDR has helped me in working through a couple of rapes, but I am beginning to deal with the final one, where I was sexually abused and then raped by a cousin.
workED
yes, very much helped and removed some of the emotional pain that went with trauma
still working at it
My therapist used gentle reprocessing to help me. It was a very positive experience. I wish I could have done it longer.
Two sessions and I am the man.... WORKED BIGTIME!
Very painful, frightening process but the results have been encouraging so I persevere. Having a qualified, trained therapist makes all the difference. Mine respects me, and we work as a team.
worked 2 asssist me 2 forgive my parents 4 their inabilities 2 raise me with guidance , nurturing or security .
It helped alot. I pictured talking to my 4 year old self, letting her know it will be okay and she will make it, I want to start doing it again.
