I developed Primary Secondary and Tertiary Lyme D.after being bitten by deer tick in my own back yard. My doctor knew little about Lyme. A friend found info on INternet. Dr contacted CDC tried every recommended Tx.Painful episodes and impaired mobility ensued.Unable to work past several years. Try to focus on the good happening along the way. I use natural supplements like MSMfor pain. Other meds didnt work. Mobility greatly impaired. Every day I think I am getting a bit better.
Worked to clear infection is very stubburn open sores that have been draining for years, but did nothing to prevent new lesions. Still have new ones occuring after a month of use, older lesions are still there, but not as bad as they were.

Not too helpful. It is something that I feel made a few days good at first and then all hell broke loose. I really dont think it is really helping that much after 30 days on it.

This antibiotic was the last one that I was on. Dosage was 100mg twice a day. It worked like the others but the side affects were worse. I was extremely sensitive to sunlight so I had to stay out of direct light and also I had to eat a little before and right after taking it or I would get nauseated for hours if I didnt eat if I wasnt hungry at the timeI would be so nauseated I would vomit. I think this med coupled with the Spironolactone cleared my facial skin a healthier appearance.

the antibiotics helped to fight the infection and helped the pleuritic pain more so than any other pain med.

This did help at first especially with physical symptoms. However it was not very helpful with my neurological symptoms.

EM rash June 08 - 10 days doxy
Symptoms persists
Returned with symptoms again -- prescribed Doxy for six weeks. 100 MB 2x a day.
Doxy increased on Oct 8 to 400 MG 1x a day.

It worked well in high doses, but unfortunately, my stomach rebeled. So I switched to doryx. Tablet form of doxy 300 mgs a day. Not working as well as the 400 mgs. But will ask if I can try to increase it gradually.
