Im halfway through my first course of treatment and it hurts like hell.

High dose (500-600 mg per day) for 1 week after months of plateu at 300 mg got rid of most symptoms.

High dose worked well. Took 300 mg/day for 4 months... plateued; went to 500-600 mg per day for 10 days... all symptoms resolved, and did not reappear for 7 Mo. until taking serrapeptase.
Thankfully my Doc caught my RMSF while it was in the early stages so taking the Doxycycline got my feeling better!

I was placed on Doxy for 6 months and then started having side effects from it. I was taken off and things were better. I have to find a doc to get me back on the Doxy because the Lyme is recurring.
