Just began my road to removing this habit.
I was able to stay away from gambling for about 9 months after I had my 2nd child and was home with him full time. As soon as I felt the "itch" to go back to work part time, and had a babysitter, I was right back at it.
Yes, once I get some support behind me, I can stay away from casinos. Grateful that online gambling is illegal in the USA :)
Just getting started but so far so good.
I have not been to a casino for over six months, nor gambled in any other form either
Have attendind regular weekly meetings and find myself looking forward to Tuesdays.
struggling
I had self exclusioned my self for a yr, but I still snuck in and got away with it. Didn't work.
It has only been 9 days, so far self-exclusion is working for me, tho I understand from my counsellor that in my community it is a joke, and easily breached.
did the self exclusion 5 days ago
