Diltiazem is a member of the group of drugs known as Benzothiapines, which are a class of calcium channel blockers, used in the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and some types of arrhythmia. It is a class 3 anti anginal drug. It incites very minimal reflex sympathetic changes. more at Wikipedia

Used a couple of times when my afib was hard enough scared me and I went to ER.

Seems to be working. I'm taking a 240mg capsule once per day in the morning.

helps calm my anxiety and lower my bp but I have to take the time release twice a day for some reason. I sometimes get heartburn.
Working with no side effects. Biggest issue is having to take it every 6 hours not once a day like most of my other medication
