Used it yrs ago when AF first diagnosed. Seemed fine for yrs, but when AF came hard, docs switched me to Bisoprolol, a beta blocker. Now on Sotalol, and not working either.
Working / Worked
The first try with Digoxin was not pleasant. Anxiety attacks and shortness of breath. After going back into AFIB 7 months after the first time, they put me back on it. This time everything seems to be fine. I am approaching this episode more relaxed and accepting. I believe the first time on Digoxin that I was overly sensitive to the effects on my body and probably more was anxiety than anything else.
Working / Worked
Seems to have reduced the number of episodes of arrhythmias that I was having and they are less severe.
Working / Worked
I had been on a betablocker but it made my blood pressure too low. I have been taking Digoxin since 2006 and it has really helped.
