Yes it works,but you have good day & bad days.So days are so good,you feel brand new,then other days you feel so bad you don't what to know do.

I am not diabetic, and go to dialysis twice weekly for two hours each time. I want to cut it down to just once weekly. Is that medically acceptable?

Hemodialysis is working well for me with the exception that my graft was put in too deeply and the staff have difficulty accessing it, especially in the upper area.

I am currently working full time and going to school.

the side effects are to much fluid gained and he,s tried both peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis.He has had several cathetars and fistulas.

I have been on haemodialysis for 3 years - peritoneal for 18 months before that. There is more to me and my life than that (though sometimes it doesn't feel like it!) but I don't always feel like writing. Today is one of those times so it will have to wait.
