Dialysis Reviews

Well, dialysis kept me alive long-enough for a family member to step forward to donate a kidney. It was not, in any way, a pleasant experience. A couple of episodes of missed veins and a dialysis center that wasn't the most pleasant environment. (Why do so many of them have to be in rundown strip malls?)

That said, it did keep me alive and the staff at the center were the best part of the whole experience.

She had good results for the time she was on treatments but right about the 4 year mark, she was not responding well and was in so much pain. Her kidney failure came from diabetes and she was in need of more surgery to remove a leg and arm and she did not want to go through anymore. I had to respect her wishes.

I felt better after about 1/2 months of dialysis. I sometimes felt very tired and hungry after dialysis. my skin color darkened also, but i went back to natural color after transqlant. My hair also shedded a little, but im still glad that dialysis is available to us because we would not have anything but death to wait for. I Thank God will have life in dialysis and translant
