I take my treatments on Tuesday and Friday for 2 weeks and then 10 days off. The treatment itself is ok, on day of treatment I take 40 mg of the steroid Dexamethasine which makes me hiper, I don't sleep much that night, the treatment takes about 2 hours for it to run through the chemo port that was inserted on my left side, about the 2nd day after treatment all I want to do is sleep, then it is time to start it all over again. The side effect are not so bad.

we're trying this alongside lenolidomide, which doens't seem to be on here, apparently its a drug used with myeloma patients, but we don't know whether it will work yet. but she's shaking all the time, and feels really tired. her voice is even changing because of the amount of amyloids in her jaw and tongue.

Really fabulous hot flashes. That and I am hungry 24-7.

Since she has been taking this along with thalidomide, her physical condition seems to be deteriorating. I don't know if that's good because it's showing signs that it's working but she has lost A LOT of weight, complains about being extremely tired, numbness.

I just started taking dexamethasone.

Food taste metallic. Bouts of severe constipation resulting in loss of 18" of colon-wear ostomy bag now. Reduced dosage to 10 tabs 1 day a mo.

We are not going to take it for the next 3 weeks to see if it has any additive benefit. It seems that Revlimin is doing all the work. No side effects
