This medication was very successful for me for 22 years until I began having break-thru seizures. This medication also has horrible side effects - weight gain - I gained 100 lbs over 22 years.

Worked good, but I gained weight. With this and Zyprexa together I gained 100 lbs. Also I developed a bad tremor in my whole body, including my face muscles. It took being off of Depakote about 8 months before they stopped. I am lucky that they did. If it wasn't for those two bad side effects I'd still be on it, it does work great.
