Well I thought it worked pretty good..he was whiny a bit at times, loss of appetite, sometimes insomnia..but definitley kept him focused at school and at home to do tasks and get through the day. His biological father was the one who wanted him off of the patch...and also the pediatrician wanted him to tr ya new med. He was on Daytrana for 4 years.

This was the patch I believe....it worked very well but he would not leave it on because he said it made his skin itch.

The time release patch is excellent, I do see some OCD side effects but we both like how it helps him be able to function.

This has been the best option available. The side effects are minimal and there is no struggling to try to get me son to swallow a pill. We are able to remove the patch earlier in the day so that he is hungry during dinner time, since he loses his appetite while the patch is on. He has experienced a bit of insomnia, and as I mentioned, lack of appetite while wearing the patch.

My son started on this med at 5mg and has gone all the way up 20mg Love this.

Worked liked a charm, however after about 4 months, my daughter developed facial tics and had to discontinue.
