This improved my symptoms immensely over using synthroid alone, however I broke out in a rash all over my torso after about a month. I'm allergic to it! It contains talc, so I think that may be the problem.

My current primary put me on Cytomel 25 mcg in Oct 2008. I don't have the severe fatigue except in the afternoon. She reduced it to 12.5 mcg in January.
My heart rate which was running in the 40's to low 50's has increase to the 60's and 70's since starting the Cytomel. Some days though it has dropped into the upper 50's.

This seemed to work for a short time when I was first taking it along with Synthroid. I even lost some weight! I felt better and had more energy. After a few months, I slowly gained the weight back and went back to the way I felt before starting the Cytomel.

At first worked really well to help with withdrawing from my Levoxyl then had a bad experience with it when I used it after the RAI to help feel better faster. The second time I couldn't stop shaking(tremors) and felt very anxious and had bad heart palps.

I only took it a month before my scan,i take Levoxyl regularly. I cant recall any side effects except when i stopped for the 2 weeks before my scan i was feeling tired
