Counseling gave us many insiights to what we could do to help marriage survive and to rebuild our love and affection for each other. It is an ongoing process, marriage is constant work.

have tried counselors, and had some luck, but haven't seemed to find that really good match

works while you attend but when you quit you seem to forget most of the stuff you are supposed to do i think because one or both don't have an outsider who knows what they are talking about to report negative behavior to.

The therapist decided to work only with him. He has refused to committ to couples counciling because his hormones are still raging.

Still in active counseling

Counselor asked questions that I would not have thought of and it was a neutral place for both of us to discuss the why's of what went wrong. It also made husband become accountable for the pain he caused by bringing OW into our marriage. He had to admit to another person in front of me that he knew he did wrong and that was more than willing to do right by me.

We have tried it in the past but I was not truthful in the counseling so it was not efefctive for us at the time. My counselor feels I need to work on myself some more with Individual Counseling before we would start Marriage Counseling.

cheaters always cheat - I'm the victim

Husband didn't do homework, and more "stuff" kept comming out.... I was not happy there.
