Coumadin Reviews

Show: for
I have been on warfarin for the last 10 years and it has kept me stable and kept me going but I am scared of the long term side effects of warfarin if any.
Working / Worked
So far no side effects and seems to be doing the trick. Im only 4 days into this treatment though so well see how the long term is.
I'm assuming the warfarin/coumadin are working since I've not been in the hospital in 3 weeks.
Working / Worked
Warfarin 6 and 5 on more or less alternate days. My INR rose to high, to fast, then seemed to slow but settledd at higher end of range. Initially twice weekly INR tests, then once weekly, now just waiting to back after 2 and half weeks, think this has been to long as I have felt icreasingly tired, breathless and had some spotting. Not sure if side effect or my INR is blah.
It's been working so far. I haven't noticed any troubling side effects. I take 5mg a day. My INR has remained stable so far.
Working / Worked
So far there have been no noticeable side effects. Im taking 5mg a day. My INR has remained stable. No complaints.
It seems to be working, but after being on it for almost 8mos now, noticing how thin my hair is getting, loss of libido, weight gain, starting to get a little depressed thinking I might have to stay on it after March 2010, when they scan my leg again.
Bruising and headahces as side effects, and of course prolonged bleeding when injured.
Working / Worked
took a while to get it working. seems my magic number turned out to be 7mg a day after much confusion and experimenting over 2 months and totally ignoring my doctors orders of 5 mg which only kept me in normal range of .8 to 1.1
Working / Worked
I started losing hair about a couple months of taking it. As well, my INR is always crazy. I don't think I will ever get past 2 weeks of testing.
