Coumadin Reviews

Working / Worked
Finally, after, 2 1/2 months, my INR is "regulated" @ 2.79. Dr would like me between 2.5 and 3.5 due to the number and size of my PEs. I have a multitude of side effects, just not sure if it's the drug itself, or my body making repairs. Currently taking 16 mg nightly.
Hate this drug. side effects are horrible.
Working / Worked
I am taking Warafin for 6 months. Then will have genetic testing to see if I need to be on it for life
Working / Worked
Diagnosed on 1129 with bilateral pulmonary embolism. Was told I was very lucky. Currently taking CoumadinWarfarin. They dont know what caused it besides Im 45 and was on oral contraceptives.....scared to death
Working / Worked
I was never given Heparin or Lovenox because when they found the one in my lung I had already been taking Warfarin for a week.
Working / Worked
Warfarin appears to be working. No wild INR swings and seems to be under control. Feel cold most of the time and experience occasional axiety and nervousness....feels like low blood sugar
Working well but it's difficult to say if some physical problems that I am experiencing for the last one year are due to warfarin or not.
I have been on warfarin for the last 10 years and it has kept me stable and kept me going but I am scared of the long term side effects of warfarin if any.
Working / Worked
So far no side effects and seems to be doing the trick. Im only 4 days into this treatment though so well see how the long term is.
I'm assuming the warfarin/coumadin are working since I've not been in the hospital in 3 weeks.
