I was started on Avonex in the beginning and as they said the side effects would go away; they did not. So I just stopped taking it. Then after 6 months I was put on Co.
I have been on Copaxone for 3 yrs. and have not have any new lesions. I've had 3-4 flare ups because of my own stupidity, hiking without water in the heat. In the beginning of use, the normal side-effects, shortness of breath, rapid heartbeat. That lasted for about a month & I have no side effects at all anymore.

I was on it for 8 months. I quit taking it February 2008. I'm still in remission since then so how can you say it was the drug or not?...Quit because I could no longer afford it.

i have really noticed a difference and not as many symptoms are as bad as they were. but i mostly have pain, itching, at injection site, and nausea sometimes.
