Bad skin welts!

first injection today

Currently using it, but after a couple shots, never again.The burning felt like a screwdriver twisting in my leg for 3 hours straight! Am checking into copaxone.

Was terrific when I could afford it!

Began taking when dx'd in 2005. Seems to be working well. Sometimes go off when I am traveling.

I have been on Copaxone for seven years and though my symptoms are getting worse, I am still walking, so it appears to be working. I do have red itchy lumps and pain at the injection site.

have been taking for approx. 6 years. still hate giving myself injections.

worked for 3 yrs until I got alergic

I've been on this med and I suppose it helps but still have exacerbations.

I have had only one bad reaction but otherwise I am praying it is working!!

Side effects are huge welts, itching immediate after injection that goes away pretty quickly

tried avonex and it made me sick, both emotionally and physically.
been on copaxone for 6 months, feel much better, but symptoms slowly getting worse

since the start...aug.2000 my relapse's have dropped way down.

I believe it has helped to retard the progression of the disease. When I first started taking it I noticed a mild shortness of breath that lasted 20 minutes or so after the injection. The only side effect I have now is occasionally I experience a slight irritation at the injection site.
