Took for mild nausea. Seemed to work.

This helped me with nausea but not vertigo. Chewable Meclizine helps more. I cannot take the prescription version of Meclizine as it turns me into a zombie.

Excellent for vertigo spells

I was at the ER a few months ago for a migraine that would not quit. The ER doc prescribed the "migraine cocktail". It was a combination of Toradol, Compazine and Benadryl. T for the pain, C for the vomiting, and B for seizure-like symptoms that followed the Compazine. While the cocktail did work, I did think for the first time in my life that I was close to death. The jitters that the Compazine gave me scared the hell out of me, and freaked my mom and husband out when they came in the room to see me. My mom thought they gave me too much and thought I was ODing. While it did make me sleep for 15+ hours, it took me days to get over the grogginess. Compazine is a hell of a drug! Take with caution!
