It was scary and kinda painful. It did help them find that the cancer had spread to th inside of my cervix. I didn't help at all with the adenomyosis. No side effects. It was not a big deal afterwards.

I have this done every 6 months to monitor my HPV. It it frustrating to have to go every 6 months and keep the hope alive that this will be the time that my doctor will tell me that it has cleared itself up and I am fine.
