I had one colposcopy in Sept.2009 and it only hurt when the biopsies were done(slight pinch but not too painful) The doctor said he was pleased with the results. Biopsies came back as mild dysplasia.
March 2010- I had a 2nd colposcopy to a different doctor. During the colposcopy, the doctor said these are great results and that he can freeze the tissue. He said he does have to a biopsy though and this time it came back as a high grade lesion.

My results came back showing Severe dysplasia/carcinoma in situ (CIN III)

It was scary and kinda painful. It did help them find that the cancer had spread to th inside of my cervix. I didn't help at all with the adenomyosis. No side effects. It was not a big deal afterwards.
