This was a little more painful than my doctor made it out to be. Luckily, the results of my biopsy were negative!
Working / Worked
I have had at least 5 colposcopy biopsies and they seemed no more uncomfortable than a pap until this last one. They had to take several samples and the largest from the canal. More cramping than previous but tolerable.
Working / Worked
The first colposcopy went fine. I felt mild cramping during the procedure that felt exactly like period cramps. Not painful. I was surprised and nervous when I started shedding the clotting medicine - I had no idea what it was. The second colposcopy was a little worse. It took longer than expected and doc had to take more biopsies than originally planned. Had moderate pain that day.

Wasn't painful at all just nerve racking

I was dignosed with Hpv last year in may 2009 I eventually got a colposcopy done in november 2009. I was very scared being 21 years old and having High Risk HPV. They found cancerous cells, and they were removed. So recently on September 15th 2010 i had got a pap smear and it came back abnormal so i am waiting to have another colposcopy done! :(
Working / Worked
I have had it done once and they were able to tell me I was positive for HPV so I guess it worked
